Kapamilya actress Yam Concepcion could not hide her tears after talking about her father in an episode of Magandang Buhay.
KAMI learned that the actress grew up without her father who is now living in the United States with his another family.
“Bata pa lang ako, parang never ko na siya nakasama,” she said.
Yam also shared that she never questioned her mother for growing up without a father.
“Siyempre ‘nung bata ako, hindi ko pa naiintindihan. Hindi ko nga naisip na, ‘Bakit nga wala akong daddy?’ Parang siguro at a young age, hindi ko kinuwestyon ang mommy ko,” the actress said.
Despite the absence of a father in her life, Yam still acknowledges her mother for serving as both a mom and a dad to her.
“Wala siyang pagkukulang sa akin. Nabigay niya sa akin ‘yung pagmamahal ng isang nanay at tatay,” she added.

Yam became even emotional when she gave a heartfelt message to her mother.
“Una, gusto kong magpasalamat. ‘Di ko naman nasasabi sa’yo every day, kahit magkasama tayo lagi, how much I appreciate you and how much I love you,” she said while in tears.
“Ipapangako ko sa’yo… Basta palagi tayong magkasama forever,” the actress added.
