Furious DDS fired shots at Director Erik Matti for his controversial tweet to PRRD voters

- As the film Buy Bust started to hit the theaters, one netizen by the name Jefry Tupas called out director Erik Matti for his controversial tweet about a year ago

- The said contains expletives thrown at DDS or Die-hard Duterte Supporters, whom the director tagged as President Duterte's voters

- The post instantly got viral and DDS couldn't help but curse the famous director as well in the comments section exploding like a firecracker

Director Erik Matti has recently promoted his new movie with Anne Curtis called "Buy Bust." Netizens, who are all for Duterte's support, recalled his tweet crushing down the voters of PRRD.

KAMI learned that the said tweet was about a year ago, which resurfaced online because of the advent of Buy Bust in theaters.

A screen grab of the tweet was shared by a netizen going by the name Jefrey Tupas, while calling on all DDS to mock Matti.

DDS netizens were fuming over Direk Erik's lambasting tweet, which has some extreme expletives thrown at Die-hard Duterte Supporters.

While Jefrey sarcastically called on the DDS to 'support' Matti's film, DDS had a lot of criticism to say to the director:

"To erik matti: Eh di p******** mo rin! Para lang bumenta ang pelikula mo, mumurahin mo kami. Uulitin ko, p******** mo rin!"

"P. I. MO RIN ERIK MATTI ADIK KA!"

"To erik matti. Edi wow. sana hindi sucessfull yung pelikula. "

"Ok ung cast kaso di ko papanoorin to dahil sa PI na director."

"First time seeing that tweet. Sayang. Decent director but seems dumb here. lol"

In an earlier report by KAMI, Anne Curtis attended the New York Asian Fiulm Festival (NYAFF) alongside Director Erik Matti.

Director Erik Matti a well-known Filipino filmmaker for his hit movies such as On the Job, HonorThy Father, Seklusyon, which awards in the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. He also the director of the recently released movie, with Anne Curtis as the main protagonist, called "BuyBust." Matti is also known as a critic of the Duterte Administration.
