In a recent interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda (TWBA), Julia Barretto finally spoke up about the issue of Joshua Garcia involving a female netizen.

It was reported a week ago, that Joshua also had an interview on TWBA admitting that he did made a comment on a female netizen's photo.

KAMI learned that when the issue happened, they didn't speak with each other for one day, Joshua said, "Hindi muna kami nag-usap ng matagal eh. Nasa Siargao siya, nag-Bali ako."

According to PUSH, Julia said that what they went through wasn't easy, "It’s a process. When I’m not ready to speak about it, I just want the person to know that I’m aware of what’s happening. I’m aware of what you did."

The actress also said that she was very vocal with her feelings, "Oh yes, very honest with him. And that’s my time to think, that’s my time to reflect and that’s my time to pray."

According to Julia, what she and Joshua have is not something you can easily throw away, however, she made it clear that she knows her worth and value.

"With this guy, we have respect for each other. There’s love and we built something beautiful. So it wasn’t something na madali kong sasabihin na tama na, I don’t want to talk. Nangyari to, I don’t want to talk. I don’t want you anymore. It’s not like that. It’s more like, this is what you did. I know what you did, this is what I felt. Let me hear your side.

"I made it clear, I know my worth, I know my self-value Tito Boy. I have learned important things: self-worth, self-value, things I can tolerate and what I cannot tolerate and I made that clear to him."

"It was a rough patch but I didn’t put whatever we built and our partnership to waste."

Julia admitted that until now, Joshua is still trying to gain her trust, which is obviously a consequence of his actions.

"So up to this day Tito Boy, he’s still trying to gain my trust and that’s the truth. He’s still trying to gain my trust. But we’re okay. Accept, forgive and move on. Life goes on," Julia said.

Joshua admitted that he did made a comment on Dane's photo but she has nothing to do with his life, "Si Dane? Actually Tito Boy wala, wala lang po siya.. She's just wala, wala siya sa buhay ko. Hindi siya naging parte o kahit ano."

According to Joshua, Julia and him had a fight because of the issue but they were able to patch things up afterwards.
