Ian Veneracion proudly shared that he never dated his leading ladies.
According to him this is the reason why he never had an issue linking him to other girls especially his leading ladies.
Ian had worked with Ms. Jodi Sta. Maria, Bea Alonzo and Iza Calzado.
In an interview with PEP, he said, “I’m proud to say, I’ve never been linked to any of my leading ladies because I’m very professional.
“You know, ganun kami sa trabaho. Kami nina Jodi, nina Bea.
"And sa amin, trabaho, trabaho talaga."
The actor also shared that he values professionalism so much.
“Well, ang turo sa akin ng dad ko na ‘your reputation is the best investment.’
“So, inaalagaan natin yun, siyempre ayaw nating matawag tayo na unprofessional.
“Ayaw natin ng awkward moments when... dinidiskartehan mo yung katrabaho mo.
“Happy ako sa buhay ko, e.”
Ian got married to his wife Pam when he was just 22 years old in 1994.
They were blessed with three children, two sons and 1 daughter.
Since his wife is not from the showbiz, Ian was asked if he never wanted to be in a relationship with someone from showbiz.
“Hindi. Kasi nga, I find it unprofessional pag katrabaho mo.
“In any line of work, pag katrabaho mo at matagal kayong magkasama, ‘tapos didiskartehan mo, magbobolahan kayo, parang ang awkward naman nun.
“And usually, sa trabaho ko as an actor... kunwari kami nina Bea, nila Jodi, we have scenes na emotional, it becomes a friendship talaga, e.
“Ngayon, kung lalagyan mo ng landian, I mean, that’s awkward.
“Kahit binata siguro ako, kahit crush na crush ko yung leading lady ko, aantayin kong matapos ang trabaho ko.
“Sa labas ng trabaho, doon. Pero during work, hindi talaga.
“Kasi nga, I find it unprofessional.
“Magandang disiplina yun.”
Veneracion is an equipment engineer known to be an avid outdoorsman. He is a licensed private pilot, skydiver, paragliding pilot and scuba diver.
He also engages in various outdoor activities such as trail riding, climbing, sailing and recreational fishing.
Veneración was a rider for the Shell-Yamaha motocross racing team between 2004 and 2006.
