Michele Gumabao revealed that this was her first time to join a beauty pageant.

KAMI learned from ABS-CBN News that she has no prior knowledge in joining prestigious beauty pageants and that she just wants to prove her doubters wrong.

Aside from bagging Binibining Pilipinas Globe, Michele also won Ms. Cream Silk during the coronation night held last March 18, 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Michele really impressed the audience for being straightforward in answering interviews and for her free-spirited ways that she already possessed since her UAAP days with De La Salle University.

The volleybelle turned beauty queen is the assistant coach for the all-female tactical crew of Adamson University's women's volleyball team.

She is also a part of the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League.

Michele has already won several titles with DLSU Lady Spikers and the PVL Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors.

This time, her great transition from being a star player to being a beauty titlist, Michelle proves that she can also have a life even outside the court.

Michelle also became a PBB Housemate back in 2014 along with Jane Oineza, Alex Gonzaga and Daniel Matsunaga.

She is the sister of actor Marco Gumabao and plus-size model Kat Gumabao.
