Na-offend at rumesbak! PGT Play Girls' reaction over Angel Locsin goes viral

It was an intense night last March 3 episode of Pilipinas Got Talent.

The all-girls sexy group 'Play girls' became controversial because of Angel Locsin's comment towards their performance.

She said, “Ako kasi, parang hindi ko kaya na makita ko kayo na nagsa-sayaw na naka-underwear para lang sa ‘min. Masyado kayong magaganda at masyado niyo ‘tong pinaghirapan para gawin ‘yan. Kung may talento kayo, yun yung ipakita niyo sa ‘min dahil talent ang hinahanap namin dito, hindi katawan. Kaya ko kayo binuzz, ayokong ma-objectify kayo. Masyado akong nagmamalasakit para sa inyo para i-go ko ‘to at patuloy kayong panoorin ng mga kalalakihan na ginagawa niyo ‘yan.”

Playgirls did a 'carwash with a twist' performance where they did a sexy dance in skimpy outfits while cleaning the car.

They almost just started when Angel push her red buzzer with a face of disappointment.

After she gave her verdict to the group, tears fell from her eyes and became emotional.

Angel is a women's rights advocate and that she is definitely not comfortable seeing those girls do their performance to entertain men and also for 'money'.

Meanwhile, a day after that episode was aired, members of the 'Playgirls' posted their reaction towards Angel Locsin's comment about them.

Obviusly, the girls did not find Angel's comment sincere for she herself had worn a similar outfit during her 'Darna' days. According to them, Angel showed hypocrisy for saying such words when she herself once flaunted her body with skimpy outfits.

Another member of the group also clarified that PGT management were the ones who contacted them in the first place to join the competition.

By the end of the segment, Angel explained to Robin that she just wanted to create an awareness for the girls about their rights.

Robin also clarified that he did not mean to disagree with Angel and even commended her for what she did.

Vice Ganda gave gave Angel a warm hug, but FMG remained silent over the issue.
