A hilarious video is making the rounds on social media.
This group of friends decided to surprise one of their best friends on his birthday. But aside from the usual cake and balloons, they decided to prank him with funeral-style gifts!
The video, posted by Glenn Rementizo Pal Mejorada on Facebook, started with the friends setting up and then walking towards their friend Nash Yu Timkang's house.
One of them was holding a birthday cake. All are holding balloons and long candles.
When they reached the house, they started singing Livin' La Vida Loca.
The surprise didn't end there, though. They suddenly started "praying" a parody of the mysteries of the rosary.
They were speaking in gay language but it seems like they were reciting the life story of their best friend.
Each recitation and chant were met with laughs from people watching the hilarious surprise.
And then they brought out the flower, which turned out to be a flower arrangement for the dead!
They even sang the birthday song in a slow pabasa-sounding tune!
And the last surprise is a tarpaulin that looked like a banner for the deceased!
Needless to say, the birthday boy was very happy with his hilarious surprise.
The video was posted on February 15 and has since received more than 17,000 shares and 45,000 reactions.
It has been viewed more than 2 million times!
Netizens also found the prank hilarious. Some even they want friends like these.
Even their actual birthday gift was hilarious! They gave him... mixed vegetables!
