Island Pacific Supermarket in Vermont, Los Angeles, California was patronized by many Filipino and other nationalities.

The Los Angeles Fire Department is still conducting investigations about how the fire started.

According to a report by Philippine Star, employees would not be left jobless as there are more than 20 branches of Island Pacific in North America.
