A throwback video shared on YouTube by ABS-CBN shows the then 11-year-old actress displaying her dramatic acting chops on the 2006 TV show entitled “Gulong ng Palad.”
On the teleserye, Yassi played a young version of the lead character Luisa Santos-Medel, played by Kristine Hermosa.

The flashback video is a scene between Yassi and a young boy played by Phytos Ramirez, as the latter says goodbye to the heartbroken girl.
Yassi effortlessly cried her heart out in the dramatic scene, impressing many social media users.
