4 unidentified robbers kill Filipina in Lipa City

- A Filipina died after four unidentified robbers killed her

- The incident happened in Lipa, Batangas

- Some things taken were cellphones, safety box and bags

The Filipina wife of a Syrian national was shot four times by some unidentified men who robbed her house on Tuesday evening.

Inquirer's account stated that the subdivision where her house is located is actually a private one, where security personnel must be available.

The police chief of Lipa City stated that the 44-year-old victim, Alexandra Mazloum, chanced upon the suspects. Although she tried to escape, she was immediately shot on the face.

The robbers took with them cellphones, bags, safety box and cash.

Considering that Mazloum was sharing her home with 11 children, not all of whom are hers, but a number were her husband's kids with his first wife, police are looking at another angle aside from robbery.

The Syrian husband of Mazloum was slated to go home this month to celebrate the holidays with his family.
