What was meant to be a sweet family reunion in Dubai turned into a stressful ordeal for Anne Curtis after her flight was forced to turn around mid-air. Through her Instagram stories, the actress shared her experience of being caught in the middle of sudden travel disruptions caused by escalating tensions in the Middle East.

"Was on my way to meet my little fam in Dubai when I noticed a high speed jet flying beside us," Anne initially posted alongside a video from her plane window.

The situation quickly escalated as she noticed another jet, followed by an official announcement from the crew.

"Next thing I knew they announced we would be turning around and making our way back to Milan due to the airstrikes," Anne shared, adding a sad face emoji. She further informed her followers that "all flights to the Middle East have been grounded."

While Anne was headed for Milan, her husband Erwan Heussaff and their daughter Dahlia were already in the region. Erwan shared a chilling update from his own flight, posting a photo of a seatback screen displaying a news report titled "US and Israel strike Iran."

"Watching this in UAE airspace while it's happening is wild," Erwan captioned the post.

Naturally, Anne's primary concern was the safety of her child. She reposted a serene video of little Dahlia looking into a massive aquarium, with the caption, "Stay safe my little one," followed by two pleading face emojis.

The actress ended her updates by offering prayers for everyone affected by the conflict.
