Ogie Diaz, inihayag na hands off umano si Lala Sotto sa issue ni Vice Ganda at Ion Perez

- Ogie Diaz, in his online show “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Updates,” revealed that MTRCB Chairperson Lala Sotto allegedly told him that she’s observing a hands-off policy as regards the issue of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez

- According to the showbiz reporter and talent manager, Lala supposedly told him that they have an adjudication board that will decide on the case

- In a video that Ogie showed on his online program, the MTRCB chair was seen showing the showbiz reporter various monitoring areas of the regulatory agency

- Ogie said that they have areas and personnel who monitor free TV, cable, and movie, though he said that Lala doesn’t meddle in their work

Ogie Diaz, in the latest episode of his online show, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Updates,” revealed that MTRCB Chairperson, Lala Sotto, allegedly told him she’s observing a hands-off policy as regards the issue of Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.

It can be recalled that the regulatory body summoned the officers of “It’s Showtime” after the icing-eating incident, which have been called out by some netizens.

According to the showbiz reporter and talent manager, he personally interviewed Lala recently and he’s going to air the full interview on “Ogie Diaz Inspires.”

“Kahit si Lala, kausap ko si Lala Sotto, 'Hay naku Ogie, hands-off ako dyan', sabi ni Lala. Kahit itanong mo dyan, nakakahiya naman, dito na lang nagkaedad yung mga tao na yan na alam nila yung proseso,’” Ogie said supposedly quoting the MTRCB chair.

He also claimed that Lala said she doesn’t meddle with the work of MTRCB personnel, and then showed Ogie around the regulatory body’s monitoring units.

“’Bakit ako makikialam? Meron din kaming monitoring and inspection unit, o yung MIU, ayan o,’” Ogie quoted Lala once again.

“Ipinakita niya sa amin yung MIU. Oo, kung saan talagang binabantayan nila ang lahat nang palabas, lalo na yung mga noontime shows. Kasi live nga iyan,” Ogie said.

The showbiz reporter and talent manager also said that he saw where and how free TV, cable, and movies were being monitored.

“At yun yung mga free TV, pwera pa yung sa cable, so ang dami raw talaga nila na minomonitor. Sabay nga yung mga pagri-review pa rin ng mga pelikula,” the showbiz reporter said.

He then said that he’s going to show the entirety of his interview with Lala on “Ogie Diaz Inspires.”

“Yung buong panayam ko kay Lala Sotto, ay ilalabas sa Ogie Diaz inspires para linawin ang mga bagay na iyan,” Ogie said.
