Ice Seguerra took to social media to express his thoughts on Eat Bulaga’s departure from Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE).

KAMI learned that on his Instagram account, Ice shared a heartwarming photo of him with the show’s main hosts—Vic, Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon.
In his lengthy caption, Ice opened up about what he felt upon hearing the news.
“Hindi ko naiintindihan ang nararamdaman ko. Lungkot ba o saya?” he said.
“Malungkot ako sa nangyayari. Sa kawalang respeto. Malungkot ako dahil sa hiwalayang Eat Bulaga at TAPE, mayroong mga taong mag-iiba ang lagay sa buhay. Nalukungkot akong umabot sa ganito.”
On the other hand, Ice explained why he was happy about Eat Bulaga and TAPE parting ways.
”Pero masaya ako dahil malaya na sila. Bakit ka mananatili sa isang relasyong hindi ka naman masaya. Hindi rin ako natatakot sa kinabukasan ng programa. Ang Eat Bulaga ay Eat Bulaga. Kahit saang network sila mapadpad, walang paltos silang makakalipad.”
Furthermore, Ice optimistically expressed, “Kaya sulong lang, Dabarkads. Simula pa lang ito nang mas maniningning na bukas.”
Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program on Philippine television. It premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. Some of its younger hosts include Maine Mendoza.
Joey de Leon immediately took to social media after his, Vic and Tito Sotto’s announcement on Eat Bulaga’s YouTube channel. On Wednesday, the show’s three main hosts revealed that they will be parting ways with TAPE. Following the big news, Joey cryptically said in a post that they are not signing off.
GMA Network, through its social media pages and website, released a statement about 'Eat Bulaga.' In the statement, the Kapuso network said it is "saddened by today's unexpected turn of events." It also mentioned the network's block time agreement with TAPE.
