In a new viral video, Kris revealed that Angel donated a total of P2,000,000 for the people affected by the super typhoon Odette.

The former “Darna” actress sent the money to the office of Vice President Leni Robredo, who has been hands-on in providing donations and assistance to the victims of the typhoon.

“Nagbigay po si Angel Locsin ng 2M pesos kay VP Leni para po pantulong para po sa lahat ng nasalanta,” Kris said.

Angel Locsin is a famous actress and endorser in the Philippines, best known for her portrayal of the superhero Darna.

The actress is now married to businessman and film producer Neil Arce. They were scheduled to get married in 2020 but they had to reschedule it to 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Aside from being a celebrity, Angel is vocal about her thoughts and opinions on current social and political issues in the country.

She is also known as one of the most charitable celebrities in the country as she always participates in charitable activities during times of crisis such as natural disasters. Last year, she donated COVID-19 test kits with the help of actress Anne Curtis.

Furthermore, Angel has been active in expressing her support for ABS-CBN. The Kapamilya star has emphasized that closing down ABS-CBN would lead to thousands of employees losing their jobs.
