Janine Berdin’s family was among the residents affected by the onslaught of typhoon Odette in Cebu.

In an Instagram post, the singer said she waited for two days to be able to contact her family.
She likewise shared a video and photos she collated showing the current situation in her home town.

Janine furthermore shared that her family is safe now but urged her followers to pray and send help to the affected areas in Visayas and Mindanao.
“I only got to contact my family after 2 days of waiting and crying by the phone kasi sobrang hirap ng signal, no electricity. No water. Thankfully they are safe.”
“But SO MANY PEOPLE NEED HELP AND I DON’T SEE IT BEING TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH. Pls donate if you can, I have attached photos where you can donate. Please pray for Visayas and Mindanao. Pleaseeee spread awareness and help if you can.”
