Director ‘Direk’ Bobet Vidanes has openly admitted that he misses his It’s Showtime family deeply.
KAMI recently learned that Direk Bobet was greeted with a happy birthday by his new family on Lunch Out Loud.
During the celebration, Direk Bobet was given a chance to address some issues he was previously involved with.

According to Direk Bobet, he had to leave the Kapamilya network, including his noontime show, due to his health.

In his statement, the director reiterated that he did not leave because of money but that he prioritized his health instead.
It will be recalled that back in November 2020, It’s Showtime fans, as well as the hosts, were stunned by his sudden departure from the show.
Following this news, Direk Bobet recently talked about his former family and how much he misses them.
“May dahilan po pero baka hindi niyo po maintindihan. Pamilyar yung stage eh, pamilyar yung panahon na birthday ko, nandito ako with artists, magkakaiba nga lang yung mukha. I miss my family, I miss my ‘It’s Showtime’ family pero nakakatuwa, nung nagbibigay kayo ng messages niyo sa akin, for the longest time, sila Anne Curtis ang kaharap ko, sila Jugs and Teddy. Nakakatuwa, iba naman yung nagbibigay ng message sa akin so parang ang lawak pala ng nagmamahal sa akin.”

Bobet Vidanes, or 'Direk Bobet', is a famous director in the Philippines known for his shows under ABS-CBN, "Pilipinas, Game KNB?", and "It's Showtime". In 2020, however, the director stunned Kapamilya fans when he left ABS-CBN and his noontime show for good.
As reported earlier by KAMI, Director Bobet Vidanes said he properly informed his old management about his resignation.
Aside from this, Director Bobet went viral when he shed tears as he explained why he had to leave It's Showtime.
