Cristy Fermin recently commended Willie Revillame’s humble way of announcing that he will not venture into politics.

In Cristy Ferminute’s episode on Friday, Nanay Cristy recapped how Willie announced the news during his television show on GMA Network, Wowowin.

Willie said he wants to continue helping other people through his show.

Nanay Cristy then reacted, “Bibihira po ang tulad ni Willie Revillame na inilatag po, cards on the table, ibinahagi po niya on national television at maging sa iba-ibang bansa dahil ang GMA nakakarating do'n. Napakaganda ng kanyang sinabi na, 'Hindi po ako marunong mag-Ingles, hindi po ako marunong, nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral. Isa pa, hindi po ako marunong gumawa ng batas dahil salat po ako sa kaalaman sa batas. Sayang lamang po ang boto na ireregalo niyo sa akin kung hindi ko naman po maibabalik 'yung inyong inaasahan.'"

The entertainment columnist likewise lauded Willie for admitting that his knowledge will not fit into politics.

“Hindi po lahat ay makapagsasabi ng kanyang kakapusan at kakulangan. Hindi po lahat ay makakaamin sa harap ng publiko na siya talaga ay walang alam sa papasukin niyang mundo.”

Willie Revillame, is a Filipino television host, singer, songwriter, businessman, actor, and comedian. He entered showbiz in 1987 as a member of Randy Santiago's Hawi Boys, along with Chinkee Tan, Dennis Padilla and Jong Cuenco. He is also the father of Meryll Soriano.

Recently, Meryll uploaded an adorable snapshot showing Willie Revillame and her baby boy. According to the actress, her father and her son were having a “serious talk” in the photo. Meryll likewise expressed how much she loves her dad and her baby.

Willie, during his show in Wowowin gave his reaction towards celebrities who opted to transfer to GMA-7. He said that people must respect the decision of these celebrities. Some of the celebs who transferred to GMA include Bea Alonzo, Pokwang, Beauty Gonzalez and Richard Yap.
