Karen Davila cannot help but become emotional upon watching the "goodbye video" of Kuya Kim Atienza.

The well-known TV presenter, news anchor, and broadcaster had worked with Kuya Kim, TV Patrol's resident weatherman, for many years.

Kuya Kim appeared for the last time on the program on October 1, Friday.

In his "goodbye video," he first went through his usual routine of reporting about the weather and some trivia about birds of prey.

After he was done reporting about the weather, Kuya Kim lets out a long sigh before looking at the camera to give a short narration of his story at ABS-CBN.

Fighting back tears, Kuya Kim thanked his colleagues at TV Patrol, including Karen Davila, whom he's been with for many years.

When TV Patrol's former resident weatherman finally gave his trademark parting shot, it became apparent that he was already on the verge of breaking down.

"Sa ngayon, nais kong sabihin, for the last time, sa huling pagkakataon, ang buhay ay weather-weather lang," Kuya Kim said.

At this point, the resident weatherman perhaps can't hold back his tears anymore, as his voice became broken when he bid said "until next time" to everyone.

"Hanggang sa muli," Kuya Kim said in a choked voice.

It was perhaps this scene that also made Karen Davila become emotional.

She posted the "goodbye video" of Kuya Kim on her IG Stories and bade him good luck.

Kristine Karen Lising Davila-Sta. Ana, better known in the Philippine media world as Karen Davila, is a Pinay journalist, TV presenter, newsreader, and radio broadcaster. She also recently went into YouTube content creation. Karen was born on November 21, 1970 in Manila, Philippines. As journalist, Karen has received a number of international awards. She also holds the distinction of being one of People Asia Magazine's People of the Year in 2013. The Philippine Senate also cited her as among the Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS).

As YouTube content creator, Karen would interview various personalities on her channel. Among them is Gigi De Lana of the famed "GiGi Vibes," a band that went viral because of their amazing covers. During the interview of Karen with Gigi, the latter showed her the studio where they do their online live sesion.

Karen also was able to have Vice President Leni Robredo as guest on her YouTube channel. The VP even welcomed Karen Davila into her home and to give her a "tour." VP Leni then said that there is nothing to actually tour because their home is very small. In the process she revealed some practical 'tipid tips' that her family has been used to, which is why she and her children, still live simply. She recounted how all of them would sleep in one room, in order to save on air conditioning, and eventually save on electricity bill.
