Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi have openly talked about the viral transfer of ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza to the Kapuso network after working with ABS-CBN for 17 years.

On Friday, October 1, ABS-CBN released a statement about Kim bidding goodbye to the viewers of TV Patrol after being its resident weatherman for 15 years since 2006.

While tons of Kapamilya fans expressed their support for ‘Kuya’ Kim, KAMI also learned that some netizens could not help but recall his old statement.

Previously, Kim reiterated that he “shall stay a Kapamilya until its last breath” which had fans questioning his sudden move to the Kapuso network.

In Ogie’s latest showbiz update vlog, posted on Saturday, October 2, the talent manager said, “Ganun naman talaga ang buhay.

“Sabihin man nila na, ‘Sayang naman si Kuya Kim. Nagpahayag pa naman si Kuya Kim na mananatili siyang Kapamilya tapos siya rin ang bumali.’ Eh ganun naman.

“Nag-iiba iba rin naman ang mga desisyun ng mga tao, diba? Hindi naman sa lahat ng pagkakataon eh napapanindigan natin yung una nating sinabi.”

According to Ogie, while ‘Kuya’ Kim might have deviated from his previous statement, it does not mean that his credibility has been lost.

“Hindi naman nakakawala ng credibility kay Kuya Kim,” he said before noting that the reaction of the people towards his transfer was all different.

Ogie Diaz is a comedian and a talent manager who is the one handling the career of Liza Soberano. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he would comment on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.
