In a post on his Instagram account, Janus said that Paolo showed he is really a man who would not make any excuses if he did something wrong.

“Taking accountability for your action shows what you are really made of,” Janus wrote in his post.

The actor-comedian also praised Paolo for not justifying his actions or attempting to retaliate against all the bad words thrown at him.

“It shows character. You didn’t justify your actions nor retaliate,” he further wrote.

Janus then pointed out the bravery of Paolo in telling his haters to direct his attack only at him and not to anyone else.

“You welcome the trolls and the haters with open arms as long as they don’t attack anyone else involved,” the post of Janus further reads.

He noted that Paolo sincerely apologized and allowed some people to attack him or draw their own conclusions.

“You apologized and just let things be,” he wrote.

Janus ended his post with a salute to his friend, and capped it with the a now-popular phrase that came from Paolo himself.

“And for that alone, I applaud you. As a friend. Chos,” Janus said in his post.

The actor-comedian, also left an unsolicited advice for those who continue to attack Paolo.

Referring to them as “sawsawero,” or someone who likes to dip their fingers in everything, he asked them to also see the good things that Paolo did and not focus only on the bad things.

Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian of Italian descent who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". He was born on March 14, 1984. Contis is half-Italian (from his father) and half-Filipino (from his mother).

She said that she believes Paolo can still save his six-year relationship with LJ. She then highlighted how she believes that LJ has the capacity to forgive and is only hurting now.
