Ogie Diaz pens hilarious post on his “qualifications” to run as president or senator

Ogie Diaz has recently taken to social media to pen a hilarious post about him running for a national position.

This, after the Partido ng Demokratikong Pilipino-Laban (PDP-Laban) formally announced Senator Christopher “Bong” Go and President Rodrigo Duterte as the party’s official presidential and vice presidential bets in next year’s national elections.

The party also named eight government officials as its official senatorial candidates.

Meanwhile, in a Facebook post, Ogie humorously enumerated his “qualifications” should he decide to run for presidency or senate.

“Pinag-iisipan ko ngayong tumakbong Presidente o kaya pwede ring senador. Na-inspire ako sa line-up eh,” he wrote.

After the talent manager itemized his experiences – such as being one of the board trustees of a foundation, being a talent manager and a vlogger, among others – he jokingly asked his followers if he fits for a national position.

Ogie Diaz is a comedian and talent manager. He is the one who manages the career of Liza Soberano. Ogie started out writing scripts in showbiz.

Recently, Ogie recounted the time that he was lining up at Jollibee to apply for a job. He lined up for two hours at the fastfood and he already saw the two piles of papers right in front of the hiring manager. When it was his turn, he hardly stayed on the seat and he was told that he should not call them but they will be the ones to call him. Now, he wanted to look for that manager, not to confront him, but to thank him, because now, he has achieved a lot of things because of that rejection.

Ogie was also among the prominent personalities who called out Cong. Claudine Bautista because of her lavish wedding. In his new vlog with Mama Loi, Ogie once again talked about the congresswoman and said that he will not apologize to Cong. Claudine following his viral opinion on her wedding.
