Derek Ramsay recently uploaded on Instagram a photo of him at the wheels of a green-colored vintage car that he revealed as a 1967 Mustang named Hugo.
The actor is known to be passionate about cars and is a known owner of several high-end ones including a Porsche.
In the description box, the actor tagged the name Hugo 67 Mustang, which when clicked, takes the user to an Instagram page that detailed the story of Hugo.
It described Hugo as being based in Davao City and brought to Luzon to be restored like brand new.

The description on the page went on to say that the vintage car was restored and rebuilt by a car company based in Angeles City in Pampanga.
There was no information whether the car was sold to the actor.
Derek also did not say whether he bought the vintage car or was merely testing it out.
However, it can be recalled that the actor is an avid fan of cars, particularly the high-end ones.
He is also known to own a vintage Volkswagen, specifically a 1961 Kombi, which he said took a while to find.
In an interview years ago, the actor revealed he has several cars, most of which were vintage.
When asked what he does with them, Derek said he restores them and enters them in vintage car competitions but most of the time, they would just sit there in his parking lot.

She touched upon two things, one is his rift with John Estrada and the other was his stand on vaccines. Lolit said that Derek is known to be a frank individual and it's not unusual that his statements would make it to headlines. The veteran journalist said that with regards to Derek's friendship with John, it can still be fixed if they want to.
Regarding the vaccine belief of Derek, a netizen also to Instagram and commented on the actor's post, asking him why he's "antivaxx." The netizen started her post by saying that she admires the intelligence of the actor, until she learned that he is antivaxx. Derek explained that he is not yet confident about it with all the research that he has done. He then reiterated that he respects those who want to be vaccinated, and said that maybe in time.
