Sanya Lopez just had a press conference to mark her recent contract renewal as a Kapuso star for GMA network.
One of the topics the actress was asked, was regarding her friendship with 'First Yaya' co-star, Kakai Bautista and what she thinks of the singer-actress coming in her defense against a basher.
According to the Kapuso star, she does not have the tendency to react to her bashers while Kakai, on the other hand, believes in defending her friends and showing people what is right.

"Ako kasi ’yung tipo na hindi talaga pala-imik, eh. Kumbaga, kung magsabi man okay lang. Kung may magandang sabihin, ‘Thank you po.’ Pero kung may hindi magagandang sabihin, hayaan mo na sila. Lagi akong ganoon, eh."
“Eh, si Ate Kakai talaga palaban yan. ‘Basta hindi ako papayag pagdating sa mga kaibigan ko at mga mahal ko sa buhay at pamilya ko.’ Hindi talaga n’ya pinapatawad.”
However, what worries Sanya is that her bashers might go after Kakai for defending her.
“Sabi ko, 'Tiyang, thank you naman sa pagtatanggol mo sa akin pero, alam mo ’yon, baka ikaw pa ’yong magmukhang mali dito kasi sumagot ka. Alam mo naman mahirap magsalita.' Sabi niya, ‘Hindi. Wala na akong paki-alam. Basta ang importante malaman nila kung ano ang tama. Dapat alam nila kung ano ’yung tama.'”
