Hans Mortel was making sure that his fans were kept abreast of his health condition, such that he would take to Facebook to post a pic or just a short message about his health.

After three months of battling pneumonia though, the comedian succumbed to the disease on July 14.
Before his death, he made a post of FB, which turned out to be his last.
He showed a picture of both his hands, with IV attached to them.

Amy Perez shared a message for Hans Mortel, who was her co-host and friend, and whom she was with on a TV5 show. Amy thanked Hans for all the memories that they have as co-hosts of the show. She also shared photos of the late Hans, especially during times that they were working together as co-hosts.
This year, one more notable individual who died was Rocky Gathercole. He is one of the famous Filipino designers, not just in the Philippines, but even in the international scene. He has clothed international celebrities like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton. Gathercole was discovered unconscious due to health reasons in his bathroom in his Quezon City home.
