- Jean took to Facebook to raise funds for his brother as his hospitalization already reached P30,000 per day and as of July 2, their medical bills have reached more than P600K

Hans Mortel, the popular Face to Face host, has succumbed to pneumonia.

He has been battling with the illness for three months already and on the 14th of July that he finally succumbed.
In a Facebook post, Jean launched a fundraiser for Hans since the cost of his hospitalization has skyrocketed.
The daily cost was at P30,000 and as of July 2, their medical bill has already reached P600,000.
Amy Perez took to Instagram and gave a tribute to Hans.
The comedian has been battling with the disease for three months and has even posted that he was Covid negative but was still fighting other conditions.
His last post on FB has also gone viral.

Amy Perez shared a message for Hans Mortel, who was her co-host and friend, and whom she was with on a TV5 show. Amy thanked Hans for all the memories that they have as co-hosts of the show. She also shared photos of the late Hans, especially during times that they were working together as co-hosts.
Hans Mortel, prior to passing, has made efforts to keep his fans updated about his health condition. He took to Facebook and made an announcement that he was negative of Covid but there were still complications. On June 12, he made his last post on Facebook where he showed both of his hands had IV on. "Pink or blue before going to the ICU," posted the late Hans.
