Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s death has affected many people in the country, including famous celebrities.
KAMI learned that action star Robin Padilla took to social media to react to the death of the former President of the Philippines.
The actor sent his sincere condolences to the family members and loved ones of Aquino.
He also expressed his hope that critics of the Aquino family will cease from bashing the former president in this time of grieving for his family.
“Malalim na pakikiramay sa mga mahal sa buhay at kamag anakan ni dating Pangulo Benigno Simeon Cojuanco Aquino III.
“Akoy nananawagan ng paggalang at pagpupugay para sa pumanaw na dating Pangulo at sa kanyang pamilya.
“Hindi po ito ang oras ng pulitika lalo ng pagpuna at pagbatikos, tayo ay isang bansa na may takot sa Dios at pagmamahal sa kapwa maging kamag anak, kaibigan, kakilala, kakampi, kaaway o katunggali.
“Lahat tayo ay makakatikim ng kamatayan at walang pinakamainam na pairalin sa oras ng pagpanaw ng buhay at paglisan ng kaluluwa kundi ang ating katahimikan, panalangin at pakikiramay. Rest in Peace,” Padilla posted on Instagram.
Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III was the 15th President of the Philippines. The late former President Corazon Aquino and the late senator Ninoy Aquino were his parents. Noynoy was admired by many people for his reputation as an incorrupt politician.
Former Pres. Benigno Aquino III was rushed to the hospital Thursday morning, June 24. According to initial reports, the former president was brought to the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City.
Hours later, it was confirmed by a family member of Aquino that he has passed away at the age of 61. Aquino was undergoing dialysis months before his death. He also had a heart operation recently.
