John Arcilla mourns his brother's passing, shares family's heartache

- John Arcilla suffers another loss with the death of his brother just after a year of his father's passing

John Arcilla recently lost another loved one just after a year of his father's passing. His brother, Emmanuel Arcilla has passed away due to cardiac arrest.

The actor penned a lengthy message which he posted on his Facebook and Instagram accounts. In his writings, the actor expressed his grief and heartache not only at his brother's untimely death but also by the circumstances their family had to face after he passed away.

According to the actor, due to the pandemic, there were some restrictions they had to experience with regards to his brother's remains which inevitably caused more pain for their family.

"In times like these it is hard to embrace every PAIN, STRESS and CONSIDERATIONS all at the same time."

The actor remains understanding during his time of grief and opined that he did not want to blame anyone. He did however wrote a heartfelt plea to his countrymen to be more responsible in order to avoid this kind of tragedy.

"But one thing is for sure, It is all our responsibilities. We need to mature as people to ACT RESPONSIBLE and RELIABLE to LESSEN or totally avoid these kinds of misfortunes."
"I grieve for my brother, for all the loved ones who passed away and to all families who had the same experience as ours."

He is popularly known for playing the lead role of Antonio Luna in the historical drama, 'Heneral Luna'. He is also widely known for his antagonist role in the remake of the action television series 'Ang Probinsyano'.

John opened up about the recent death of his father, Dominador Arcilla, at the age of 86. The actor clarified that his beloved father did not die because of COVID-19. He stated that the lockdown made his father’s death even more painful because he and his siblings were not able to bury their father since he died in Baler.

KAMI also reported that John, who plays the main antagonist, Renato Hipolito, in the action drama series, 'FPJ's Ang Probinsyano' recently answered some questions regarding the teleserye. One of the questions the actor addressed was a popular comment about how people never run out of bullets in the series.
