The comedienne revealed that it can be overwhelming at times to be a single parent to Quentin.

To manage the stress, Candy shared that she prays a lot and makes sleep and rest a priority.

She also goes for swims and bonds with some of her friends in order to rejuvenate and regain her strength and energy.

The single mom also advised parents to not be afraid of taking a break and to cry sometimes to release their negative emotions.

“I pray. I pray a lot. I sleep to rejuvenate. I watch TV, go for a swim or meet some friends. I think parents also need a break. I also try and cry sometime. Though, it doesn't last long. I also get tired of crying,” Candy told KAMI.

She also talked about how the Philippine society should improve for the benefit of people with special needs. Candy believes that raising awareness for people who are differently-abled and treating them with dignity and respect are important to have in a society.

“I think we should promote awareness for the safety of people who are differently-abled. I hope people especially those in authority get to learn how to deal with them. It's going to be hard but hopefully achievable. I hope that one day they be truly accepted in a community with dignity and respect,” she shared.
