Ruby Rodriguez addresses rumors about her "leaving" Eat Bulaga: "It's a management's decision"

Ruby Rodriguez, during a virtual media conference of Viva Artists Agency on May 31, gave it a long thought before finally airing her side of the story.

When asked whether her "leaving" Eat Bulaga caused her pain, the 31-year host of the show still had to think.
“Actually, hindi ako umalis kasi nagpaalam ako na magli-leave of absence lang ako," said Ruby.
"Ang sabi sa akin ni Mr. Tuviera, ‘You will always have a home here in Eat Bulaga.’ At siyempre, inasahan ko ‘yon.
"So, when they started to go on air, it’s their decision kung sinong pababalikin nila.
"Ang makasasagot lang kung tinanggal ako o hindi ay sila. That’s why I always say, 'Please ask them.'
"I don’t know how they will answer it. If they were going to say, 'Ito ba ay leave?'
"Hindi ko alam kung ano ang desisyon nila, but it’s management’s decision, and we always respect that," Ruby said.

Ruby Rodriguez, born on January 10, 1966, is a Kapuso actress who became well-known for hosting "Eat Bulaga" alongside Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Pauleen Luna, and Maine Mendoza. She has two children, namely, Antonio Jesus and Antoinette Aquino.
