Ely Buendia maintains he said the truth about Eraserheads amid backlash

Ely Buendia is currently facing some heat from fans of his former band, Eraserheads after he revealed that the members were not close nor were they friends.
Some fans did not take kindly to his comment regarding the bandmates' closeness which they have perceived differently.
Ely who was merely being candid about what really went on with their bond, explained that he has a good working relationship with Raymund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro, and Buddy Zabala.

The singer took to Twitter to express his sentiments regarding the negative reactions of some of the band's fans. Ely also reminded his fans to simply focus on their music and not the personal matters of the former bandmates.
"Big deal, still? Why hate on people who want to tell the truth? I didn’t ask to be interviewed, nanahimik na nga ko dito eh living a happy life kayo yung makulit about the eheads. The music is all that matters, have you forgotten about that, and who wrote most of it? Just saying."
Ely also seemed nonplussed that he might have more Eraserhead fans than Diehard Duterte Supporters who hate him.
"Lol it’s also weird that I have more Ehead fans who hate me than DDS. Priorities, I guess."
The musician has since deleted his tweets.

Ely Buendia also spoke up about how he finds the lyrics to their song, 'Minsan', "cringe-worthy" because a lot of people believed that the song pertains to the friendship and bond between the bandmates. Ely revealed that this is not true at all.
In another news reported by KAMI, SB19 member, Josh responded to the criticism by denying that they copied K-pop groups. According to Josh, their fashion style, and their songs are not copied off of other K-pop boy bands. The group's leader, Pablo also explained that though they were inspired by K-pop that does not mean they lack originality.
