"There was an audition. I think I said yes even before hearing fully what it was about. I was given my scene to record. I was given my song to sing. As I was rehearsing , I said to my self. Why are my eyes tearing up? Is it because I haven’t gotten a script in years? Is it because the song gave me a renewed sense of purpose? Is it because I have been still for so long? Is it because this endeavor reminded me as well that I am still here? Is it because I was also led to remember the saying 'be still and know that God is there?' It may be all that."
