Christian Bautista recently took to Instagram to share his thoughts and feelings when he got his new role for the upcoming musical series, "Still".
The singer penned a lengthy message on social media where he revealed that he became emotional during an audition though he did not know why precisely.
Christian also listed plenty of reasons why he teared up and said that he might have felt emotional due to all of these reasons.
"There was an audition. I think I said yes even before hearing fully what it was about. I was given my scene to record. I was given my song to sing. As I was rehearsing , I said to my self. Why are my eyes tearing up? Is it because I haven’t gotten a script in years? Is it because the song gave me a renewed sense of purpose? Is it because I have been still for so long? Is it because this endeavor reminded me as well that I am still here? Is it because I was also led to remember the saying 'be still and know that God is there?' It may be all that."
Just last year, Christian revealed that he has been jobless for months after the pandemic hit the world just like many other individuals. It seems that the singer is feeling grateful to have a project where he can showcase his talents once more.
