Catriona Gray recently took to Instagram to share a video of the Miss Universe 2021 candidates speaking about cyberbullying.
Just recently, Miss Canada, Nova Stevens has shared the bashing she received from Filipinos because of her physical appearance. Miss Philipines, Rabiya Mateo even publicly apologized for the behavior of her fellow countrymen.
In her Instagram post, Catriona also shared her thoughts regarding this matter. According to the beauty queen, a lot of people have taken to cyberbullying as many get away with doing so.

She also revealed that she received her fair share of bashing from netizens even at the beginning of her Binibining Pilipinas journey. Catriona also said that even up to now, she is still receiving negative comments on social media.
Catriona reiterated that it is wrong to attack others and put them down. She also expressed her hope that people would choose to use their words to lift others up instead of trying to bring them down.

Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray is a Filipino-Australian model, singer, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2018. She is the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe competition. Previously, Gray was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 and Miss World Philippines 2016.
