Beauty queens rallied behind Rabiya Mateo after she cried her heart out in a viral IG live after the national costume segment at the competition.
In the viral IG live, the beauty queen apologized to people whom she said she disappointed.
Many of her fellow beauty queens rallied behind her and gave her support.
They expressed how proud they were of her and sent her all their love and well-wishes.
Pia Wurtzbach gave her a very nice reply.
"Rabiya ❤️ malayo man kami pero sana nararamdaman mo support at pagmamahal naming lahat, ng buong Pilipinas ❤ next time tears of joy na tayong lahat."
Kylie Versoza said, "You did so well, and we are so proud of you baby girl!! Bring home the crown!"
Maxine Medina said, "Keep it up we are proud of you go go go!"
"Ganda!" Michele Gumabao said cheered.
Miss Thailand, whom she became friends with in the pageant told her, "You're beautiful."
Rabiya Occeña Mateo is an Indian-Filipino model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines in 2020. She is set to represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant, which will be held on May 16, 2021 in Florida. Rabiya was born on November 14, 1996 to an Indian-American father and a Filipino mother who later separated.

MJ seem to cannot contain her laughter at the fact that the excuse letter might really be genuine. In her post, the former beauty queen advised those who are still studying to finish their modules first before watching Ms. Universe. The pageant will be held on May 16, 2021, in Florida, USA, which would be May 17, 2021 in the Philippines.
