What made the news shocking is the fact that Sunshine has been a GMA talent for 25 years before the transfer to ABS-CBN, which is still in the middle of its franchise renewal crisis.
The other cast members of the new Kapamilya teleserye are Vina Morales, Cherry Pie Picache, Edu Manzano, Paulo Avelino, and Janine Gutierrez – who also transferred months ago from GMA to ABS-CBN.
