Gerald Anderson recently posted a cryptic message on his Instagram account about surviving many trials.

The actor has a penchant for publishing cryptic messages that appear to be directed at someone, including himself.

Adding to the mystery, however, is that in the past, when the actor posts a cryptic message, his ex, Bea Alonzo, would likewise post a similar message.

These messages from both parties gave rise to speculations that perhaps they’re addressing each other, though in a clandestine kind of way.

The relationship of the two ended somewhat bitterly, with each of them making accusations about who left who.

The noise that the ex-couple generated made some people, including veteran columnist Lolit Solis, think that they might have not moved on yet from each other.

In the latest post of Gerald, he uploaded a photo of himself holding a phone to his ear, with his eyes looking at a distance, suggesting that he’s talking about something serious on his phone.

“Trust yourself, you've survived a lot, and you'll survive whatever is coming, stay strong.. Praying for everyone's safety,” the actor wrote alongside the photo.

It is unclear whether he is addressing the caption to himself or someone else. For sure, it would be known, or not, in the coming days.

Gerald is fond of publishing cryptic posts which many say is directed at his ex-girlfriend, Bea Alonzo. In one post, Gerald quoted a phrase about healing instead of having revenge. The actor published this post after Bea revealed details about their relationship.

In a more recent post, Gerald wrote something about peace amid a storm. The actor could be seen sitting at the docks where the BRP Jose Rizal Philippine Navy was. He posted several shots, with some showing that he was onboard the said ship. Some netizens commended the actor's looks and told him that they really do value his good work.
