Ellen Adarna believes that the setup of live-in before marriage is the most ideal since it allows a person to know the other partner better.

She revealed this during an interview on "Between Us Queens", a Spotify podcast of beauty queens, comprised of Carla Lizardo, Bianca Guidotti and Pia Wurtzbach.
Ellen revealed that it was her father who suggested her to go for a live-in setup so that she will know her partner first before marriage.
"And that time, when I was 18, nung boyfriend ko that time, my dad suggested na, 'Mag-live-in kayo. Get to know your partner.' Yun talaga ang fear niya—magpakasal kami at a very young age. He wanted us to get to know our partner, get to know what we want and what we don't want," said the actress.
"I'm sanay na nag-live-in since I was 18. Lahat kasi nag-live-in na kami," she added.
The actress also explained that if she does not live-in with that person, it will be like, "Oh my god, how will I get to know him? How will I get to know the truth?"
