Ritchie Nepomuceno, 35 years old, was shot on Natalio Bacalso Avenue, around 6 p.m. on Monday, April 19.
She sustained multiple gunshot wounds and her assailants were unknown.
As per Inquirer's report, Maj. Alejandro Batobalonos, the chief of the Integrity monitoring and Enhancement Group (IMEG), which is a unit that monitors rogue policemen, said that the victim was killed a month after she filed a complaint against 11 police officers of Sawang Calero police station.

In March, Nepomuceno filed robbery, grave coercion, grave threats and arbitrary detention against 11 policemen.
The team leader, SSgt. Celso Colita, was also charged with two counts of rape after she was allegedly brought by the officer to a motel and was molested.
Rappler previously reported that the cops were relieved of their duties after the complaint was filed.
A recent report in Sunstar stated that Colita killed himself hours after Nepomuceno was shot.
