Gerald Anderson opened up about what transpired before he and Yam Concepcion did the viral brief scene.

The actor admitted that he was surprised when he learned that it would be the only thing that he would be wearing.
"Actually, nakakatawa yan yung eksena na mag-bi-brief ako. Kasi yung set up ng taping namin tuloy tuloy kami so nung dumating yung scene na yan, lumapit sa akin yung wardrobe at may inabot sa akin na brief lang. Sabi ko, ‘Ano ‘to?’ Sabi niya, ‘Kuya, damit mo sa next scene.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ha? (laughs) Ano ‘to ba’t brief lang?’" narrated Gerald.
He also added that in order to help him feel comfortable, their director also came down wearing only briefs.
He further explained that aside from him and Yam, there are 30 other people there who were watching.
