“I rarely post anything political but to all of you asking/wondering why my wife and I have not been vaccinated yet since my brother is the mayor,” LA began in his post on Instagram Stories.

He said that he does not see himself skipping the line of those who need to get the vaccines first.

“My mom didn't skip the line, Vico didn't skip the line. Why would I?” LA further wrote.

Mayor Vico’s big bro also hit those who say they got vaccinated ahead of others because of life and death situations.

“Sabi ok lang yan kasi life and death daw? So what? Shouldn't we hold on to our values more when things are difficult? What will I tell my children? It's ok to do something illegal because it's convenient?” he asked in what appears to be a swipe at influential persons who got vaccinated ahead of others.

“My three boys are watching me, people around are watching and most importantly, God is too,” LA explained.

Finally, he said that there is hope as long as everybody should do their part. “I'm not a Mayor like my bro, but we can do our part and choose what is right. One person, one family at a time. THERE IS HOPE FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!” Mayor Vico’s big brother said.

Recently, LA’s brother, Mayor Vico, revealed that everyone must go through proper channels to be vaccinated and that there are no exceptions to this rule. The Pasig City mayor said that even his mother, actress Coney Reyes hasn't been vaccinated. Sotto has made this revelation just after the debacle over actor Mark Anthony Fernandez' vaccination in Parañaque City.

The young mayor and brother of LA also took time to thank Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin for their cash donations to Pasig City. He revealed that the two actresses handed their cash donation to him without any noise or media in attendance. He also said that the two just left the checks and he didn’t even get the chance to see or talk to them at the time.
