KAMI learned that Gerald explained why he finally revealed that he is in a relationship with Julia Barretto during an interview with Boy Abunda last month.
According to the actor, he decided to reveal it once and for all so that he could gain peace of mind.
He shared that it felt like a thorn was pulled out after he revealed his romance with Julia. In 2019, rumors spread that Gerald cheated on his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo with Julia. However, both Gerald and Julia denied this accusation.

“Personally, it’s just something na parang naramdaman ko na kailangan ko nang gawin for peace of mind. Nabunutan ako ng tinik,” Gerald said.
