In an interview with Toni Gonzaga for her YouTube channel, Baron bared his soul for the world to see. The actor answered Toni's questions with candor and an earnestness that is incontrovertible.

During their heart-to-heart, Baron opened up on his past transgressions and his twisted views. He said that he used to objectify women and that he thought himself a king while the rest were just his followers. The actor also revealed that he had undergone 7 rehabilitation before he can say that he has changed. Clearly, the actor has had to overcome a lot of hurdles before he was able to transform definitively.

Their talks soon turned to Baron's late mother, Gracia Bayonito-Geisler who died due to cancer.

"I sort of knew so kumuha ako ng penlight chineck ko yung mata ni mommy. And slowly, slowly nagdi-dilate. That's when I knew we lost her"

Tony quietly asked the actor, "So you were there?" Baron confirmed that he was with his mother when she passed away solemnly saying, "I was there."

Baron also shared that during that time he had hoped that his mother would see him "clean".

"My dream kasi, nung time na yon, (was) for my mom to see me clean."

As Baron divulged his wish, the actor became visibly emotional as he broke down into tears. The actor had to pause the interview as he tried to regain control of his feelings.

Toni comforted the actor by telling him that even if his mother did not get to see his transformation she still knew what kind of person her son really is. The actress also told him that his mom will always be with him and that she will always be proud of her son.

Netizens were touched by the sincere interview and commended the actor for turning to God during his darkest hours and for being an inspiration to them.
