The 63-year-old OPM icon, Claire dela Fuente, who died on March 30 due to cardiac arrest has already been cremated.

This was announced by her son, Gigo de Guzman, on his Instagram Stories.

"My mom is being cremated tonight. My brother @thefurybot had to go there alone to witness it as he's the only one of us negative for Covid. At least now our mom is with our dad after so many years apart."

Gigo then proceeded to give his younger brother a message where he apologized as his younger brother was the only one who took care of the cremation as he was the only one who was negative for Covid.

"@thefurybot I am so sorry I cannot be there with you as you take care of mama. I know we are both adults now but I am still your kuya, and I’m suppose to protect you and look out for you. I wish I could hug you and keep you safe. Know that I am so proud of you for still doing what needs to be done. It’s just us now, and I’ll always be there for you bro. I love you very much."

It is quite evident how close the relationship of Gigo is with his younger brother.

Gigo de Guzman recently announced that his mother, Claire dela Fuente has passed away due to cardiac arrest after contracting COVID-19. Gigo revealed on his Instagram story that he received a malicious message filled with hate due to his connection to the flight attendant Christine Dacera who passed away.

The exclusive interview of MJ Felipe with Claire dela Fuentes's son, Gigo de Guzman, has gone viral. He affirmed the cause of death of his mom, and said that as per their doctor it was cardiac arrest. He also said that it was a result of stress and anxiety, which also caused her to weaken.
