Gary Valenciano opens up on being quarantined after his wife tested positive for COVID-19

Gary Valenciano recently posted a vlog on his YouTube channel to let his fans know how they were doing after his wife's announcement on Instagram that she tested positive for COVID-19.

The singer gave assurances that his wife, Angeli Pangilinan Valenciano, is currently asymptomatic even though she tested positive for the virus. Gary also mentioned that two of their staff members who tested positive for COVID-19 are also not displaying symptoms of the disease.

Some netizens are worried for the performer as Gary has several co-morbidities that might affect his response to the virus. Gary also took the test for COVID-19 but his result came out negative much to everyone's relief.

The actor made sure to emphasize that even if he tested negative he will continue to finish his 14-day quarantine not just for his safety but for the safety of those around him. Gary was also adamant about following proper safety protocols in order to avoid contracting the virus.

In his vlog, Gary also admitted that quarantine life is not without hardship. He said that though he is able to do video calls with his wife, he still misses being with her.

“My wife is okay. We FaceTime like this every once in a while. Somehow, it’s made the bond even stronger because I do miss having her with me.”

Previously, the actor had to undergo a bypass surgery and was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Known for his religious beliefs, Gary shared that he was able to survive this tribulations because he has God with him. The actor gave words of encouragement to everyone that no matter what difficulties might lie ahead they will not experience it alone for there is a higher power watching over them.

Gary Valenciano took to social media to share a video of him giving an important update about his current health condition. He likewise aired uplifting words for patients who also battle with cancer.
