Kylie Padilla took to social media to share her thoughts about the importance of acceptance.
According to Kylie, learning to accept is extremely difficult for her because of her desire to always be in control.
She also confessed that she has been hurt in the past by things that she was not able to control.
For this reason, the actress is now trying to be less of a control freak and to just go with the flow.
Her insightful post came a couple of weeks after it was rumored that her marriage to Aljur Abrenica was on the rocks. Fortunately, things seem to be better now as Kylie recently posted a photo of Aljur and vice versa.
“Acceptance is one of the hardest things to do especially for someone like me who needs to feel like I am in control at all times. Even if it just my own illusion.
“There are too many things that I couldn’t control that hurt me in the past. But then begs the question, life is never in our control so will I keep subjecting myself to this kind of misery?
“Trying to control things that I can’t? I am as I am. And so are you, though it is the hardest thing for me to grasp. I accept all that is. All that I am. All that life is. Pain, pleasure, all of it is growth. And that is beautiful. The next question is what is the kind of life that we aim for?” Kylie posted on Instagram.
