Doris Bigornia, a veteran broadcaster of ABS-CBN suffered from a heart attack on Sunday up to Monday.

This was revealed by her partner in Teleradyo's show SRO on Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Alvin Elchico said that many have been asking about Doris, which was why he sought the permission of the family of Doris before he made the announcement.

Known as the Mutya ng Masa, Doris is now in the intensive care unit and would need open heart surgery.

Alvin also stated that Doris is conscious and that he was able to talk to her over the phone.

Alvin and the rest of DZMM, are one with Doris's family in asking for prayers for her.
