Maui Taylor honestly discussed with KAMI her showbiz career, including her brand new movie, “Paglaki Ko Gusto Kong Maging #PORNSTAR.”

One of the themes tackled in the film is the careers of former sexy stars slowing down as they grow older. According to Maui, this did not negatively affect her in real life because she never imagined being on top forever. She added that having a quieter life gave her more peace and joy.
"Ako naman I've always put it in my head na ang pag-aartista, hindi naman 'yan forever. Palagi kong inaalala 'yan.
"Kasi for one artist, hindi ka naman pwedeng on top forever kasi maraming dumarating na bago, maraming dumarating na bata...
"With regards to handling it, hindi ko kasi nilagay sa ulo ko na I can be on top forever... Managing it was actually very okay and I don't think I came to a point where I got depressed. Never po nangyari sa akin 'yun.
"And during that time, I pretty much enjoyed my life kasi I enjoy the privacy. Kasi dati kahit kaunting galaw mo lang, siyempre nasa diyaryo ka, minsan ay babaligtarin ka pa. So I pretty much enjoy my quiet life," Maui said.

The actress also opened up about her career as a YouTube vlogger. Maui revealed that she never expected to have over 100,000 subscribers and this is why she is super grateful for the support she has received.
"With regards to my YouTube channel, I've had the channel for more than a year already. Ang pinaka-fulfilling na part sa totoo lang, unang-una 'yung naka-1,000 subscribers ako tapos na-accept ako sa YouTube partnership, which is sa ads. In short, nag-monetize na ako.
"Pangalawa, yung nag-100,00 subscribers ako kasi hindi ko ine-expect na darating ako sa 100K and magka-karoon ako ng Silver Play Button...
"Before, I was really impatient with YouTube, thinking 'gagawin ko ba ito? Itutuloy ko ba ito?' Kasi parang masyado akong nababagalan nung time na 'yun. I'm really happy that people are starting to recognize," she explained.
