Lea Salonga reacts to TV5 airing ASAP Natin 'To: "It's crazy"

Lea Salonga just squealed in delight and exclaimed in joy over the airing of ASAP Natin 'To on TV5.

She was interviewed by TV5 entertainment reporter MJ Marfori with regards to what she felt that TV5 and ABS-CBN joined forces.

"I know! It’s crazy. It’s crazy," said Lea.

"I mean, how do I feel about it? I feel overjoyed ASAP gets to air, like, actually goes on air again. That people will have access to it, those who don’t have access to online platforms and streaming will get to see it again on the air," added the international singer and actress.

She also said that it was incredibly generous for TV5 to allow ABS-CBN to go on air again.

Lea Salonga has been one of the most vocal personalities in showbiz. She also lamented the plight of daily wage earners who lost their jobs during the community quarantine.

Lea Salonga took to Facebook and expressed her frustration over another module of DepEd. The page she was concerned about was a multiple-choice question, which asked about what a tattoo symbolizes. One of the choices was "being a criminal" and that it was the correct choice based on the answer key given for the said module. The singer-actress slammed the module and even said that she is already thinking of getting a tattoo just to prove a point.

Korean rapper Tablo recently made headlines in the Philippines after he gushed over Lea Salonga’s tweet. The Filipina award-winning actress and singer recently posted on Twitter about discovering the music of Epik High. The Broadway performer even tagged its members, Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz. Tablo immediately reacted to her post by tweeting about his “lifelong” admiration for Lea.
