Ellen Adarna was asked about the possibility of working with her former partner, John Lloyd Cruz, and she answered the question frankly.

During the virtual media conference for TV5’s newest sitcom, “John En Ellen”, on January 21, Ellen could not avoid the questions thrown at her regarding the current issues she is facing.
Now that she is back in the showbiz world, Ellen was asked if she is open to the possibility of working with John Lloyd again.
As a response, Ellen smiled at the thought. Then, she revealed that she only has one ex from the entertainment industry, and that is the Kapamilya actor. For this reason, Ellen admitted that she would not be comfortable working with him again.
She reasoned out that she wants to do comedy projects, while John Lloyd is a dramatic actor.
“Isa lang ang ex ko sa showbiz, e. Parang hindi, kasi serious naman yun, e. Gusto ko, comedy,”

Asked how she was able to move on from their breakup, Ellen said that she simply let things go naturally.
"I just have to do what I’ve got to do and continue with my life.
"It will pass. Emotions will pass.” she answered.
The controversial actress could not also avoid the rumor involving her with Derek Ramsay.
It can be remembered that Ellen, as well as her sitcom co-star John Estrada, were present at the intimate party held in Derek’s house on January 11. Ellen and Derek have been linked to each other ever since.
Meanwhile, John revealed that Derek is his co-producer for the new TV5 blocktimer sitcom.
Ellen said that she is thankful that the project was offered to her. She also said that she is comfortable doing comedy upon her showbiz comeback.
