Patrick Sugui caught up with the list of celebrity couples who got engaged before 2020 ends as he proposed to his girlfriend, Aeriel Garcia.

The “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010” alumnus proposed to Aeriel on December 28, Wednesday.
Aeriel uploaded a video clip of the proposal on her Instagram and captioned it with a romantic message for the actor.
In the video, the ex-PBB housemate can be seen as being emotional as he gave his message to Aeriel, while Elton John’s “Your Song” played in the background. The social media influencer can be heard crying while Patrick was pouring out.
According to the actor, he did not only ask Aeriel to become simply his girlfriend. He wanted to be with a person he can marry and love for the entire lifetime. Then, on that day, he wanted to make his promise come true.
“When I asked you to be my girlfriend, I told you na I wasn’t just doing this to have a girlfriend.
At this point, Patrick knelt before Aeriel and put the box of an engagement ring before her.
“I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
“Will you marry me?”
Aeriel responded with an eager “yes” and “I love you” as Patrick put the ring on her finger. The clip ended with the two hugging and crying with each other.

Patrick Sugui is a Kapamilya actor who started as a PBB housemate in 2010. He became part of several films and TV series, including “Pangako Sa’yo”, “La Luna Sangre”, and “The General’s Daughter”.
