Antoinette Jadaone, the director of “Fan Girl,” recently aired an interesting piece of information about the lead actors of the well-acclaimed movie.

KAMI learned that Charlie Dizon was not allowed to talk to Paulo Avelino while they were filming the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Best Picture awardee.

The said trivia was revealed by the award-winning director when she decided to entertain several questions from her followers on Instagram.

She mentioned that Charlie’s role in the film was a “fan” so the awkwardness between her and Paulo must be preserved.

Moreover, Jadaone expressed that the young actress did not have the privilege to be in an airconditioned tent during the taping of “Fan Girl.”

"In the first days, bawal kausapin ni Charlie si Paulo. Wala rin siyang aircon tent. Fan siya dito, hindi artista,” the filmmaker quipped.

"So kahit in between breaks, di niya pwede tsikahin si Pau. Ewan ko kung nakatulong pero kasi para ma-preserve yung awkwardness,” she added.

Charlie Dizon is now tagged as the “breakthrough actress” of 2020 after winning the highly-coveted Best Actress award during this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
